- Detroit Fight Club Press Release: If someone talks about music, then Detroit has and will always be considered as the "Innovator" for the entire music industry. If someone talks about house/techno music club/dance scene, then Detroit has and will always be considered as the "Elevator" for the entire club scene. If someone talks about an "Originator", then Detroit artists, DJ's and producers ALL deserve the credit because every time you HEAR a "weird noise or sound or bleep or echo" in whatever form of music..trance, hip-hop, d-n-b, house, reggae, soca, new age, ghetto tech or minimal, it is techno. And, it came from Detroit. My city. Our city. Our sound.
